Smart Balance is owned by Boulder Brands (formerly Smart Balance). Unilever distributes Promise, Imperial, Shedd’s Spread Country Crock, Brummel & Brown and I Can’t Believe Its Not Butter! margarines, which were 24% of the butter and margarine sales in 2011. ConAgra sells another three brands – Blue Bonnet, Parkay and Fleischmanns.
